Merry Christmas From Paul and Calana

I must say that worship tonight was simply wonderful. Everyone who participated in the candle light and communion service added something very special to our time together. It was a very blessed evening.

Calana and I want to wish all of you the Merriest of Christmases and our prayer is that you would find a deep, peaceful and abiding joy in Christ this season. In addition, we are looking forward to what God has in store for our future together. The months to come appear to be full of God's blessings.

Remember, in the mist of familial crises, dashed expectations and holiday fatigue stands Christ. Born again in our hearts this Christmas time.

Peace of Christ to You,

Paul, Calana and family (Tatiana, Savannah, Harrison, and Shelby...the dog)

Dear Paul, Calana, Hill kids and other Wheatland Mission folks:

1. I am sorry we could not be there at the service last night. We missed worshipping with you!!

2. Re: the icon on Paul's Dec 24 blog; good thing the baby Jesus was born with a flexible neck!

Many blessings to you all! The Browns

Since I cannot post on the P blog I'll do it here because as long as we're trying to relate or connect to others be it friends, family or others I believe that this may be something that we should think about since it does fall under the heading of communication and we all know that there are many ways of communicating without saying a word!

So here is my comment on utilizing our favorite "pieces of technology" in our daily lives, be it a cell phone, lap top or anything else that falls into this catagory.

A comment in the P blog reads - "It must be annoying to be in someone's company who liesurely and with indifference leaves your presence and drifts off into cyberspace".

Not only that but add answering a call and especially having a conversation with this new "intruder" while I stand or sit by (unless it's your spouse-then it's ok-no rules for family as they take presidence ALWAYS!) is so rude and "dismissive" not to mention, and no one probably would, it can be hurtful but we shove it down in the feelings bag and act like it's ok even though it can add to the "I'm not very significant" file in our persona.

Just a thought that crossed my mind while reading the P blog.
